Feel more connected in a few hours than you have in months (or years).
THE CONNECTED COUPLE: A RELATIONSHIP WORKSHOP FOR REAL LIFE
Whether you're in the early days, deep in the parenting years, or decades in and feeling distant, this space is designed to help you slow down, tune in, and start feeling close again.

Saturday 4th October 2025 - 10am online
Because your relationship shouldn’t just be functional - it should feel like home.
Is this you?
Your relationship might not be in crisis... but it’s not feeling great either.

You might be:

-
Not always fighting - but not really connecting either
-
Stuck in surface-level or practical convos (hello, logistics)
-
Loving each other, but not feeling seen
-
Navigating shifting roles (like parenting or work changes) with lots of tension
-
Struggling to ask for what you need without it sounding like criticism
-
Hitting the same conflict loops - again and again

If you read that and thought yep, that’s us - this workshop is for you.
What we will cover...
This workshop blends evidence-based tools with real-world relationship insights from my experience working with couples, including:

-
Why connection breaks down - and how to build it back up
-
Understanding your needs, values and communication styles
-
The invisible forces that shape conflict (and how to shift the pattern)
-
Ways to rebuild emotional safety, even when things feel fragile
-
Practical tools + journaling prompts to keep using together
-
Moments of guided connection - (without awkward forced sharing)
You'll leave feeling...
-
Emotionally connected and in sync
-
Clear on each other’s values and needs
-
Able to communicate without shutting down (or blowing up)
-
Confident navigating conflict with more care and less blame
-
Reconnected - not just as partners, but as a team
-
Equipped with simple, evidence-based tools you can keep using to keep working on things
Who's it for?
This workshop is for you if:

-
You're craving deeper emotional connection - not just chat about logistics
-
You feel more like housemates or co-parents than a couple lately
-
You want a stronger foundation, but aren’t sure how to get there
-
You’ve tried to talk - but it ends in arguments or silence
-
You don't really understand how your relationship ended up here
-
You want support that’s warm, evidence-based, and practical - not clinical
Whether you’re in the early stages and want to future-proof your relationship, or years in and feeling the emotional distance, this space will meet you where you’re at.
Meet your facilitator.
Hi, I'm Skye Welbourne - couples therapist, relationship nerd, and a wife who deeply understands the importance of having a partnership that feels secure and connected a good chunk of the time.
In my work with couples I see just how powerful it can be to intentionally and proactively invest in your relationship before it gets too hard to talk, or too easy to disconnect.

This workshop blends everything I know from my experience of guiding couples - the tools that work, the shifts that matter, and the conversations that bring people back to each other.

This is a practical, supportive space (without the therapy couch) to help you understand each other better, talk about what matters, and build the kind of connection that lasts - even through chaos, change, or the day-to-day drift.

CLIENT TESTIMONIAL
"Skye made us feel very comfortable and is easy to talk to. We have built our capacity to open up and communicate better, which has allowed us to understand each other more and become closer than ever."
Still on the fence?
Maybe things aren’t “bad”… but you're feeling the distance. You're somewhere in between "we are great" and "we need therapy".
Working on your relationship is about protecting what matters. Waiting until it feels urgent often means it’s already become harder to reach each other.

This is your chance to press pause, reconnect, and get back on the same page - before resentment, disconnection, or emotional fatigue sets in.

If you’ve been feeling like you’re drifting… this is your sign to do something about it. Please don’t wait until it feels like too much work to find your way back.
